Atalaya is one of SFPS’ six elementary schools in downtown/near north Santa Fe and is a NM Spotlight School with a designation of Excellence School. NM Vistas Score can be seen here.

Atalaya Elementary School is a mid-sized school known for its small, family-friendly feel.  Nestled in the foothills of the East Mountains, our team of teachers provides a strong academic foundation that seeks to instill the love of learning in every student.  

We believe in educating the whole child and offer a balanced curriculum of math, language arts, inquiry science and social studies.
